I've never written a blog before. I have always had A LOT to say, but never thought I had the time to blog or that anyone would want to read it, but with this move to New York and finding lots of time on my hands, I figured, what the hell! I will try not to bore everyone with my day to day happenings, not that it doesn't work for some people, but with not knowing many people in the Long Island area and taking my son to Target or the mall everyday as our getting out of the basement outing, I don't think many people will care. I don't see many blogs out there with real life stuff, like the story that starts with "I can't stand my husband today...", or "Baby Boo threw his toy truck at my eye and I cried", not many people seem to tell the whole story it seems. I mean not everyone's Life can be that great ALL the time, right? So like I've always been known to do, I'll say what's really true, what's really happening in our life.
So why are we living in my in-laws basement you ask? We moved to New York to raise Greyson around more culture so to speak. Living in Brevard County we had the beach or the Brevard Zoo, which consists of alligators and a zip line that was the coolest thing since sliced bread. Let's just say Long Island offers A LOT more to do and also gave the chance for my husband to be near his family again that he left 8 years ago to move to Florida when he met me. So we sold our house, sadly left my family and our friends and moved to New York in hopes of getting better paying (duh, doesn't EVERYONE want to make more money?!) jobs and create a better life for our new little family of three. So while all that happens, we reside in our beautiful basement apartment, with my Italian in-laws upstairs. Its as crazy, loud and frustrating at times as you can imagine, but as of yet, no one has killed each other and we all still get along. This is my life right now. See why I've resorted to something I've always said I'd never do?
